Kay Young, Sales Manager for Todd Realty, presents a check to Dan Buchman, Chamber of Commerce and Syracuse-Wawasee Park Foundation board member. In a joint effort, the Chamber of Commerce and the Trail Committee have contacted area businesses and service groups to raise funds to build a trail segment and bridge across McConnell-Skinner Ditch.
The K21 Health Foundation has awarded the project with a $20,000 grant which will match each dollar raised by the fund drive. In addition to Todd Realty, contributors include MutualBank, the Wawasee Kiwanis, Key Bank, the Knights of Columbus, the Chamber of Commerce and the Wawasee Property Owner’s Association. Additional individual contributions and business pledges have been received.
