Kenneth and Lela Harkless Foundation has awarded $83,500 in grants to organizations in the Syracuse community, according to James Caskey, foundation president. Grants were awarded to the following organizations:

Syracuse Cemetery Association, $10,000
Syracuse-Wawasee Museum, $10,000
Syracuse-Wawasee Park Foundation, $10,000
Rose Home North, $10,000
Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary Charity Foundation, $7,500
Wawasee Community School Corp., $7,500
Syracuse-Wawasee Trail Committee, $5,000
Town of Syracuse, $4,000
Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary Club $3,000
Bowen Center Sea Scouts, $2,000
Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary Foundation, $1,500
Fort Wayne Philharmonic, $1,000
