The 3rd annual Wawasee Winter Warm-Up took place December 26th in single digit temperatures. Over 55 participants followed the 3.1 mile course back and forth through Syracuse before ending at the old Syracuse Elementary School for hot chocolate and snacks provided by New Market. The fastest man took only 18 minutes and the fastest woman took jut a minute more.
They each received a free night’s stay at Oakwood resort. The run was followed by a hearty breakfast at the library to benefit the Friends of the Library and then tons of great activities at Oakwood for the Winter Carnival Join us next year on January 25th!
